Piet Paris exposeert bij Trix en Rees

Dat internationaal mode-illustrator Piet Paris een sterke band heeft met Arnhem is bekend. Hij is er opgeleid en hij is de artistiek leider van Arnhem Mode Biënnale.

Een expositie van zijn eigen werk is echter een primeur voor Arnhem.

‘Piet thinks of his illustrations as ‘abstract fashion statements’. His colourful graphic work is made with stencils created from an initial sketch and coloured with acrylic, gouache or pastel using a paint roller. Paris aims to achieve ‘high fashion impact’ with as few means as possible.
